Welcome to my website.

I am a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with special interest in Spinal Surgery.

My orthopaedic career started in 1991 in India, followed by Basic Surgical Training in the UK in 1997. Subsequently I completed Higher Surgical Training in Orthopaedics for six years and during this period I worked in the Spinal Surgery Centres in Oswestry and Cardiff.  I also completed a one-year Fellowship in the Centre for Spinal Studies and Surgery in Nottingham followed by a Visiting Fellowship in Switzerland with Prof Paul Heini who is internationally renowned for his work on cement augmentation for osteoporotic spinal fractures.

I have a keen interest in research and have presented and published my work nationally and internationally. Recently one of my research presentations was awarded the prestigious " J .W. Fielding Young Researcher's Award" by the Cervical Spine Research Society, USA.  For details, please see my curriculum vitae.

I live in Salisbury with my wife and two children.
